Quarterly earnings release season
Feb'07 is the month for many listed companies to release their quarterly earning results.
Overall, most of the big companies with solid fundamental are expected to release great results. DiGi and Titan have done so in last week. The strategy to buy the stocks 1 or 2 days before the announcements is proven to be a good one.
Maxis will be releasing its result next Friday. It's worthwhile to try to same strategy?
Meanwhile. I expect property players to release impressive results too. As a result, I have bought in Mah Sing last week. If the bull market continues in next few weeks, I believe Mah Sing will be able to continue its uptrend after the earning release. Higher dividend (at least 12 sen) is expected as well.
